Introducing Colby’s Crew Rescue: Established in 2021, they are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare and well-being of horses. In August 2020, their horse Colby was rescued from the brink of slaughter. Colby's journey began with abuse, neglect, and fear, but it has transformed into one of compassion, trust, and positivity. He has developed an inseparable bond with his trainer, Ally, which inspired the creation of this rescue to help other horses in need.

According to Colby’s Crew, over 80,000 horses in the United States are shipped annually to slaughterhouses in Mexico or Canada. These horses face a harrowing one-way trip to an unimaginable fate, with the last stop being a direct-ship kill pen. Colby's Crew rescues horses from kill pens, auctions, and dire situations, often finding them in terrible condition—sick, neglected, and discarded.

Colby’s Crew Rescue strive to provide these horses with rehabilitation, veterinary care, training, and eventually adoption into forever homes.
